About Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Open University [BAOU] 

The Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Open University (BAOU) was established in 1994 by the Gujarat State. On 27th July 1994 BAOU got the reputation with recognition by the legislative and Governor of Gujarat ‘[[State. In terms of the establishment, the university is the 7th university in the country. BAOU University offers 72 programs with an enrolment of more than 1,00,000 learners. The university is open to all the students of Gujarat.
