Drishti IAS Asmita Scholarship Scheme 2024 – Drishti IAS is providing a scholarship scheme known as ‘Asmita’. Its main aim is to improve the result of decreasing Hindi Medium in the Civil Services Examination. Only 100 students (50 per year) will be selected based on their merit & strong commitment to crack the examination.
Drishti UPSC 2024 – Drishti IAS Asmita:
Drishti IAS is providing a scholarship scheme known as ‘Asmita’. Asmita program will be open for all. There will be no raise to any caste or community & all the students will get a fair chance. The main of the scholarship is to increase the result of the Civil Services Examination in Hindi Medium. The students who have cleared Civil Service Prelims Exam at least time are eligible under this program. Also, there will be age criteria according to caste to get eligible under this program. The yojana is only for the preparation of the Federal Service Exam not for State Level Civil Service Exam (PCS) or any other competitive exams. Additionally, under the yojana, if any student gets a scholarship of more than Rs. 5000/- and he/she decides to not apply under the scheme, then his/her scholarship will be get reserved for the said time. Elegiblity criteria for Asmita UPSC – drishti ias asmita:
- The candidate must have cleared the prelims exam at least one time in the Civil Service Examination held by Union Public Service Commission.
- Age should not be more than (age on 1 August 2024)
- For General Category – 30 years
- For EWS Category – 30 years
- For SC/ST Category – 35 years
- For OBC Category – 33 years
- For PwBD/PH Category – 37 years
- Applying candidate must have left at least two attempts in Federal Civil Service (UPSC CSE).
- The medium of study should be Hindi.
- The candidate should not be employed in any job whether it is private or government.
- Candidates who are earning via job can apply for a mentorship scheme, but will not be eligible to use facilities such as free hostels, etc.
