LIC Housing Finance Limited(LIC HFL) has introduced the LIC HFL Vidyadhan Scholarship. The Scholarship is meant to support the education of students coming from lower-income groups and studying at different educational levels starting from class 8 to post graduation. LIC Housing Finance Limited with the support of LIC India has initiated the LIC HFL Vidyadhan Scholarship for underprivileged students to contribute to their education from class 8 to postgraduation level. The scholarship program offers scholarships to lower-income group students.

LIC HFL Vidyadhan Scholarship Eligibility Criteria

Scholarship Eligibility Criteria for class 8-10 students.

• The Scholarship only open for students ENROLLED in class 8 to 12, ITI, Diploma, Polytechnic, UG or PG and etc. At any recognized institution in India.
• The family income of the applicant must be less than Rs. 3,00,000 per annum.
• Applicants who have scored at least 65% marks in their respective previous classes can apply online for the scholarship program.
• The students coming from low-income groups or students in crisis will be given preference.
• Students, who are in the final year of graduation/postgraduation programme are not eligible to apply.

Scholarship Eligibility Criteria for class 10 passed students.

• Open for students enrolled in Class 11/12 or under ITI/Diploma/Polytechnic programmes at any recognized institution in India.
• Applicants must have scored at least 65% marks in their respective Class 10 board examination.
• The family income of the applicant must be less than INR 3,00,000 (3 lakhs) per annum.
• Preference will be given to applicants from low-income groups or students in crisis (orphans, differently-abled, critically ill children, etc.).

Scholarship Eligibility Criteria for Graduation.

• Program Open for students enrolled in graduation / UG programmes at any recognised college / university / institution in India.
• Students in the final year of their graduation programme are not eligible to apply.
• Applicants must have scored at least 65% marks in the Class 12 board examination.
• The family income of the applicant must be less than INR 3,00,000 (3 lakhs) per annum.
• Preference will be given to applicants from low-income groups or students in crisis (orphans, differently-abled, critically ill children, etc.).

Scholarship Eligibility Criteria for Post-Graduation.

• Open for students enrolled in post-graduation / PG programmes at any recognised college / university / institution in India.
• Students in the final year of their post-graduation programme are not eligible to apply.
• Applicants must have scored at least 65% marks in their respective UG level programme.
• The family income of the applicant must be less than INR 3,00,000 (3 lakhs) per annum.
• Preference will be given to applicants from low-income groups or students in crisis (orphans, differently-abled, critically ill children, etc.)

LIC HFL Scholarship Amount

The students selected for this scholarship under different categories will receive benefits as follows

• Scholarship of students for class 8 to 10 – Rs. 10,000.
• Scholarship of students for class 10 – Rs. 15,000.
• Scholarship for graduation – Rs. 20,000.
• Scholarship for postgraduation – Rs. 30,000.
